What do you think of when you hear the word ‘stewardship’?
At Zion 'Stewardship Sunday' kicks off our annual pledge drive which ends in mid-November.
But stewardship means so much more than pledging a portion of our income to the church.
The Priest and Licensed Lay Ministers offer a series of Adult Forums about stewardship – the concept that all we have and all we are is a gift from God.

First there’s stewardship of our time because the time we have on earth is a gift from God.

There’s stewardship of our talent
because each of us is endowed
by God with various gifts.

Then there’s stewardship of Creation: caring for the earth and all that is in it which we believe God created.
This stewardship includes recycling and being aware of our carbon footprint and how our practices affect the environment.
But it also includes caring for our bodies,
stewardship of the temple, where Jesus dwells -
caring for our bodies
both in life and after death.
