• Shows Zion's local engagement: community sponsorships (Humane Society, dementia walk) and neighbor-facing events such as the Blessing of the Animals.
• Advent-to-Christmastide parish rhythm: greening in December, de-greening on Jan 3. Times for the Dec 12 and Jan 3 events and the Yard Sale were not given in the source.
• Newcomer-friendly: fellowship meals and public events are natural invitations; pair with an email list sign-up call to action.
