Synthesis

The shape of this site is the shape of our common prayer. The lectionary and the church year organize most of what we publish. Sermon pages are titled by liturgical day, such as Epiphany 3, the First Sunday in Lent, Pentecost, Trinity Sunday, and then the Sundays after Pentecost. A reader can follow the year from news-3215803 and the Lenten sermons news-3215802 and news-3215801 through page-3192054 and page-3192055 on Pentecost and into ordinary time. The 2026 sermon video series runs weekly through page-3192573 on September 6. The 2021 reflections news-3208502 and news-3208503 show the same habit of lingering over the Sunday readings, including the unity of the day's lessons and the work of preparing to preach.

Preaching at Zion is shared. james-a-hackney-llp, a Licensed Lay Preacher, appears most often. Other preachers named on the sermon video pages include Pollock, Brady, Mitchell, and Dugan. The record also marks a pastoral transition. page-3192289 is the final sermon of alan-neale on March 1, 2026, and his earlier reflection news-3208501 on welcoming long-absent churchgoers at Christmas Eve still speaks to our hospitality. Worship, hospitality, and community life connect throughout. The page-3050212 home page and event-3190671 give the practical rhythm: hybrid Sunday Eucharist, weekday prayer, and seasonal events that include a Blessing of the Animals, community sponsorships, a yard sale, and greening and de-greening with soup lunch. page-3187131 and page-3182777 show who we are and how we gather.

Several gaps remain. Dated vestry decisions and pastoral announcements are not yet in the catalog. There is no dedicated what-to-expect page for first-time visitors and no visible email-signup invitation in the ingested content. Publishing has also been uneven: the weekly sermon videos are steady, but written reflections are sparse after 2021, apart from the 2026 sermons. Adding a short Sunday welcome page, a subscribe invitation on each page, and a weekly written reflection would strengthen the site for parishioners and newcomers alike.
